Our Praetorian Helmet is a replica of the helmets worn by the Praetorian Guard. The Praetorian Guard were the elite of their time. The were hand chosen bodyguards of the Roman officials, especially the Roman Emperor.

Imperial Roman Gallic G Centurion’s Helmet from 18 gauge steel with brass accents. Interior is blackened and unlined; included with the helm is a separate padded cotton arming cap. The hinged cheekplates have two small rings that can be used to tie a chin strap onto.

This Roman Gallic I Mainz helm is of 20 gauge brass. The interior of the helmet is blackened and unlined. The cheek plates are hinged and the helm has a central plume holder, as well as two smaller plume holders on the side of the helmet.

This Roman Imperial Gallic C Helmet was discovered near the river Kupa, in Yugoslavia. The helmet dates to the first quarter of the 1st century AD.
