Half Gauntlets – 16 Gauge Steel

Half Gauntlets were designed to be used with SCA type sword and shield baskets. The demi gauntlets are constructed from 16 gauge steel with a blackened interior. A leather palm strap is fitted on the inside. These gauntlets are a good baseline to begin with in having demi-gauntlet armor – they will likely need a degree of modification to best fit your hand.
