The Madrid Iberian Falcata is a faithful recreation of an original sword housed in the National Archeological Museum of Madrid, Spain. Crafted by Deepeeka, this sword features a blued blade made of tempered C60 high carbon steel, comparable to 1060 high carbon steel. The distinctive forward-swept recurve blade is designed for powerful, helmet-splitting chops and devastating cuts.
The falcata was a popular sword in the Iberian Peninsula during the 4th and 3rd centuries BC, primarily used by the Celtiberians. The original sword that inspired this reproduction was discovered in 1868 near Almedinilla, Córdoba, and is believed to date back to the 4th or 3rd century BC.
